Bridges Teen Leadership Board (BTLB) is named “Bridges” as it is a group of students who work together to “bridge” the community together to raise funds and awareness for the patients and their families at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. BTLB is a student leadership service board that is run through Lurie Children’s Foundation. Lurie Children’s Foundation mentors the board members through various fundraising events, recruitment, and awareness opportunities culminating in the annual Bridges Dance Marathon event. Dance Marathon is a national student-led movement through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Bridges Dance Marathon is the largest student-run independent high school Dance Marathon supporting the hospital. Last year, Bridges Dance Marathon raised over $220,000 for the patients and their families at Lurie Children’s! We continue to be proud of the dedication and hard work that students put towards the board.

As a member of the Bridges Teen Leadership Board, you are a representative of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago at your school and in your local community. It is your mission to rally your peers, teachers, family members and community together to change kids’ health to change the future!
