Miracle Network Dance Marathons for Lurie Children’s
Miracle Network Dance Marathon is a nationwide student-led, year-round philanthropic movement that unites over 400 schools on college, university and high school campuses while raising funds and awareness for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. In Chicago, over 20 dance marathon programs support Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, where 100% of the funds raised stay local.
Since 2010, local dance marathon programs have raised over $7.5 million dollars for Lurie Children’s. Students involved in dance marathon programs spend a year learning invaluable leadership and life skills engaging with their student body. The year culminates with a 3-8 hour long event where the students come together to share their philanthropic success through dancing, games and entertainment in celebration of the total amount raised that year.
