3D Printed Artificial Ovary

Undergoing cancer treatment in childhood is hard enough. Lifelong infertility and hormone dysfunction resulting from treatment compound the challenges faced by survivors. Lurie Children's researchers are leading the creation of a 3D printed, bioengineered ovary, using a patient's own cells. With further research, we may be able to provide childhood cancer survivors a chance at a healthier future.
