Beads of Courage

Sometimes the experience of having cancer can't be expressed in words. Through our Beads of Courage program, patients are given a string with their name and a few starter beads to mark the beginning of their journey through treatment. As they progress, they receive different beads to mark important milestones including birthdays, procedures and chemotherapy. At the end of their treatment, they receive a purple heart. This gift can provide the supplies needed for Beads of Courage.
